As I read each of these stories, the questions came to me,
Do we believe?
2 Chronicles 20:20-30
Jehoshaphat stood before the people and spoke against what appeared to be sure destruction & defeat, and the only thing Jehoshaphat said was,
Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
And they immediately begin praising the Lord, and the Lord immediately begin blessing his children.
Is a story of three men, Shadrach, Meshach, & Abed-nego (a billy goat) :-), who was thrown in the furnace at seven times hotter then the normal because they wouldn’t believe in the God Nebuchadnezzar created; however, after walking THOUGH the fire WITH GOD, Nebuchadnezzar believed in The God of Shadrach, Mechach, & Abed-nego (a billy goat) :-).
I asked myself the same question.
Do we believe when we face a no-win situation, or a fiery furnace? And if we do believe. Do we walk through the test knowing that God will provide? If so, in-spite of not knowing the end results, we know that God has said,
Everything works for the good of them that love God.
